How to enable WhatsApp Calling in Zimbabwe…

This latest feature is currently only available for Android users. Make sure you have version 2.11.561 on your phone. If you do not, here are the instructions on how to get it.

  1. Make sure that you can install apps out of Google Play. Go to Settings >> Security >> Device Administration and tick Unknown sources.
  2. Download the latest version of WhatsApp here
  3. Install the latest WhatsApp version 2.11.561
  4. Send a message through WhatsApp to +263xxxxxxxxx (SORRY we regret to advise that we have closed this option. We have wonderful stuff that we need to be doing on Pindula and have been overwhelmed. Please get someone who has the feature to call you to activate)
  5. We’ll call you back and WhatsApp calling will be enabled. When the person calls you, that’s it, you’re activated.

Why do you need to be called by someone? Well, for now WhatsApp is only allowing people to be activated by others who have the feature already.

P.S. You can only call people who have the latest version of WhatsApp – 2.11.561 (Which currently is only available for Android users)

You welcome.

Be sure to check out some of the other stuff that we are doing over at www.pindula.co.zw
